We are a family-run, local, small business based in Portland, Oregon, that is committed to bringing this future to life by implementing cutting edge civil engineering design solutions and working on projects that strengthen and bring resilience to communities in the state of Oregon, and beyond.

Blayne Libby
With an educational background in Environmental Engineering, and Environmental Studies & Sustainability, Blayne has the goal of helping others develop land in a sustainable way to limit the negative impacts to the natural world from the built environment.
“I believes that as humans, it is as natural to build grand projects as it is for a spider to weave a web. In the past, we have done this without any consideration to the impacts that this may have on natural environments through creating excess stormwater runoff, erosion, or removal of native habitats. This is where Solarpunk solutions comes in to help mitigate these impacts to the natural environment and guide developers through the legal process needed to properly build on their land.”
Blayne is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Oregon with experience in civil engineering, starting his career off in the land development sector, and later transitioning transitioning to the power industry. With Blayne’s vast array of project experience and passion for leading, he chose to start his own engineering design firm so that he may share the skills he has learned throughout his career on projects that give focus on building strength to our communities and the natural environment. Brittany Khousakoun
Taking an unconventional path to civil engineering, Brittany has an educational background in Information Systems, and started off her career as an experienced Software Engineer, working for multiple Fortune 100 companies. During that time in an unfulfilling and soul crushing career, Brittany discovered that her real passion is rooted in the betterment of human lives and the environment. She left her career to pursue a path in civil engineering that would allow her to combine her love of the natural world and her technical skills to envision and build a better quality of life for local communities.
